Ondine Bodystocking — floral lace, open front

Some pieces are worn; others are decided on. Ondine belongs to the second kind — one continuous run of black floral lace from throat to toe, tracing the whole line of the body with nothing interrupting it. The halter ties high at the neck and leaves the back completely bare.

Down the center front, a column of teardrop openings cuts through the lace to the waist, trading skin for pattern in a rhythm of its own. Below the waist, the floral motif runs the length of the legs, with a discreet opening at the crotch. Nothing goes over it, and nothing needs to go under it.
